It is the upcoming World Football cup that reminds me of Brazil. Led by
team leader Ronaldo, the Brazilians will once again have the chance to prove that they are the champions. But, setting aside the fame that they possess, it is also a source of curiosity for me since I once had the idea that the geography of Brazil added up to the incredible strength that the team exhibited during the tiring games.
I was not disappointed with what I have discovered. According to a geography book, Brazil occupies a total of 8,500,000 square kilometers of land. There are vast woodlands, while the rest of the area is intended for pasture and crops. This alone convinced me that the peoples there are hardworking, since timber lands and farms require strong workers. weather conditions. I firmly believe that these external factors added to the innate endurance of the players.
Anyway, the team is backed-up by its 185,000,000 fans. At least, that is the present populace of Brazil. Putting aside the current standing of the team, Brazil is also facing numerous environmental problems like deforestation with its plant and animal species endangered. If worse becomes worst, Brazil will lose the beauty of its
river Amazon. I just pray that the people will pay as much attention to the World cup as to these issues.
