A map is very significant for travelers because it gives them an approximate location of a certain place. The information may not be exact but it gives travelers the idea where to locate the place. This is also important for the pilots and voyagers because it serves as a guide for them while traveling in the sea and air. By merely looking at the map, you can determine the geography of a particular country, the climate and even the size.

India as depicted in the map is a country having one of the biggest oceans in the world. To be exact, the Indian Ocean is the third largest ocean. This ocean is located in the center of Africa, Asia, Southern Ocean, and Australia. This ocean is an opening which enables the export and import process especially marine products, possible. Since this country has bodies of water it also experiences different climate changes. During December until April, the people of India experience the northeast monsoon. The southwest monsoon occurs, at the month of June and ends by October. It is in this period that the country experiences tropical cyclones but only in the northern part of India because the rest of the country has it on January until February. Sometimes they also have icebergs.
