The World According to Google Earth

Google Earth, developed by Keyhole Inc. as Earth Viewer and now offered as one of the products of Internet giant Google, is an electronic version of the Earth's surface captured by satellite technology and aerial photography and translated with the aid of geographic information system.

Because of constant updates, various news services in North America employ the software for showing the location of news stories. Another feature is its capability to depict commercial real estate in selected cities in continental United States.
