Digitally Mapped

Before, maps are usually made out of paper. With the inception of modern technology to map making, digital maps came to existence. Through the Geographical Information System or GIS, maps of countries, particularly the whole of Europe can be seen in details.

In fact, special computer software is designed to determine the exact location given the coordinates. Using the digital maps, boundaries of European countries are easily determined, thus preventing clashes. Generally, institutions that use digital maps include the military and other vital government institutions.
